  1. There are 5 categories of e-Visa e-Tourist Visa(for 30 days/01 year/ 05 years) e-Business Visa e-Medical Visa e-Medical Attendant Visa e-Conference Visa A foreigner (except those applying for e-Conference Visa) will be allowed to do activities allowed under these 5 types of e-Visas categories. Foreigners applying for e-Conference visa will be allowed to do the activities permitted under e-Tourist visa only (validity co-terminus with e-Conference Visa only i.e. 30 days).Only 2 e-Medical Attendant Visas will be given against one e- Medical Visa.
  2. For e-Tourist and e-Business visa, Applicants of the eligible countries/territories may apply online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival.
  3. Applicants of the for e-Medical, e-Medical Attendant and e-Conference visa may additionally observe online minimum 4 days in advance of the date of arrival to a hundred and twenty days.
  4. Recent front dealing with photos with white historical past and passport first page containing personal details is obligatory to add.   5. E-Visa fee is non-refundable as the fee is for processing the application.

Nationals of Yellow Fever affected countries or travelers strolling back from those countries must bring YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION CARD on the time of arrival in India, in any other case they will be quarantined for 6 days upon arrival in India.   9. You have to travel on the Passport that you have applied for eVisa. Entry might be allowed into India on the new passport even if ETA has been issued at the antique passport, but in such cases a tourist have to convey the antique passport on which ETA changed into issued.

India Visa validity and expiry

The validity of the eVisa will depend on the type of electronic visa that the traveler obtains to visit India. The e-Tourist visa will grant a continuous stay of up to 90 days, with the exception of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan. Citizens of these four countries will be granted a continuous stay of up to 180 days. The e-Business visa, each visit should not exceed a 180-day period.

The validity period for a tourist visa and business visa is 1 year from the approval date, with the exception of the e-Medical Patient and the e-Medical Companion visas which have a validity of 60 days.

The Indian electronic visa can be used to enter through 28 designated airports and 5 seaports. Foreign visitors must arrive in India before the eVisa expires. This type of visa cannot be extended and it is not valid for travel to restricted areas.

All travelers who apply for this electronic Indian visa are required to carry a copy of their approved eVisa at all times during their stay. To successfully apply, the applicant must have a return or onward ticket.

It is essential that the applicant’s passport is valid for at least six months from the expected date of arrival in India. Passports must have at least two blank pages as the immigration and border control authorities will stamp the document upon entry and departure.
